Gabriel Kahane tells his own story in a collection of songs written in self-imposed isolation — a full year off the internet. Described by the San Francisco Chronicle as “a gorgeous, intimate collection of ten musical snapshots,” Kahane shuttles between quotidian observations and the overlapping national and global crises to create a portrait of life in the roiling chaos of the 21st century. More info

Kronos Quartet 50th Anniversary Concert with Attacca Quartet in New York, NY

Kronos Quartet welcomes a once-in-a-lifetime lineup of guest artists and ensembles to celebrate its 50th anniversary. This special concert includes a short film by award-winning documentarian Sam Green; the New York premieres of Carnegie Hall co-commissioned works by Michael Gordon and Gabriella Smith; and an extraordinary new “Sunrise Jam” version of Terry Riley’s Sunrise of the Planetary Dream Collector for 50 musicians. More info

Attacca Quartet joins Caroline Shaw to perform music from their Grammy-winning 2022 album, Evergreen. The program includes Three Essays, Shaw's work grounded in the written word—especially the lilting prose style of the novelist and essayist Marilynne Robinson. More info

Attacca Quartet joins pipa virtuoso Wu Man for a new production of Tan Dun's Ghost Opera, a pioneering work that dramatically combines elements of both Chinese and Western cultures. This new production, in association with the Ojai Music Festival, incorporates dance via dancer/choreographer PeiJu Chien-Pott and is reimagined through Jon Reimer’s direction. More info

Tenzin Choegyal w/ the Attacca Quartet in Saratoga Springs, New York

Attacca Quartet heads to Skidmore College to join Tenzin Choegyal, a Tibetan artist, composer, activist, musical director, cultural ambassador, and one of the world’s finest musicians in the Tibetan tradition. This program will feature the music of Tenzin Choegyal alongside selections from Attacca Quartet's repertoire to complement Choegyal’s vocal stylings. This concert is free. More info.
